Friend or foe?

This is growing in my front bed but I don't recognize it and neither does my neighbour. Do any of you know if it's a weed or what it might be?

DBD, the Goldmoss Stonecrop will look very nice if you have a rock garden....

Thanks I am glad to know it's supposed to be there (well by my standards anyway) and what it is. It does look like it's about to bloom and it's in a bed that I need to clean out (creeping charlie) so I can plant so I'll be careful with it.

Funny thing... last week was rain rain and more rain but I bought some plants because they said it would stop. This week it's been really hot, high 20's every day. A little too hot in my books and so my plants are still in their pots on the patio. Maybe tonight it will cool down enough to get them in without shocking them too much.

I have some with pink flowers. It is a succulent and tolerates dry conditions and as loveto decorate posted very easy to control. I think it is part of the sedums family
