Hello, I need your help. I'm thinking about painting our home front door but not quite sure if the choice is right. I want to add a punch of color. I'm thinking Cairo Gold by Behr.
I have attached a picture of the home. Let me know what you think. Suggestions are more than welcome.

I like the pop that the mustard colour gives.
Or you could consider going soothing with a putty cement colour and add interest and contrast with planters on either side.
Maybe put in a geometrical door light to add interest in place of the single pane glass that's in there now.

Door Opt1: Mustard
Door Opt2: Putty
Looking forward to your end results ! Good luck.
Thank you all for your suggestions! I'll let you know the final results.
Hi Marytz, I would suggest staining your front porch area darker in addition with painting the front door would update your house quite a bit.
Hello Marytz,
That's a great colour! I also like warm golds like Benjamin Moore's Cornsilk and Martha Stewart's Cornmeal.
Good luck with the front door!

If it were me I would paint it black (I believe your trim is already black - if not I would paint it black anyway). Black is a classic colour. Yellow/gold is a bright fun colour. If it were black, you could add punch with door decorations, urns with colourful flowers on both sides of the door, etc. Even an outdoor colourful striped runner on the floor. You can do so much more with black.
Thank you Mrs Peacock. I was also thinking to paint it in the yellow shade like a rich yellow mustard. Someone I know suggested to paint it black. I think it could work too. I'm confused.
I am not convinced by the coral shades and/or rust colors because of the brick...
I'm starting a poll.
Vote for : Black or Mustard
Gold could work or the right shade of yellow. What about in the coral shades or even rust colours? The right shade of grey could work but would not add that punch you want.
