Hello to all: I need some ideas for my front garden. The front of my house faces north, so it sees very little sunlight, and the garden runs along most of the front. My house is brown brick, so you can understand that I would like to add some colour with flowers and/or shrubs. I am only asking because I have very little imagination when it comes to garden design. Please help.

I would check with a garden centre for bushes that flower in the shade if you want bushes as well.
Hostas come in many varieties. The green & white leaves would show up as would the yellow and green leaves. Hostas are hardy and come back every year. They can spread out to 2-4' in a couple years. They like shade. There is also a nice fern called Athyrium Ghost that is silvery leaved and about2-3 ' tall. Plant ferns at back then hostas then some impatients for colour at the front of ther garden.
