I have two urns by my front door. They are under an overhang and gets no direct sunlight. I'm at a loss of what to plant in them. Can anyone provide suggestions? I'd like something with some height ideally combined with trailing around the perimeter. But really, I'll take any suggestions as I have no ideas.

just had a section on Shade containers using perennials.
They used:
Ajuga
Bergenia
Carex siderosticha
Dryopteris
Hakonechloa macra
Heuchera
Persicaria
Saxifraga stolonifera
Tiarella
Or for annuals try:
Forget me nots (Myosotis sylvatica) they love shade and are trailing plants with either
Caladium - for height or
Nicotiana - for height
Calla Lilies combined with Coleus
there is also the tuberous begonias, my neighbour grows them in total shade and they are lovely. Just another option :)
there are many shade grasses you could use for height, then you could plant some primula (a perennial that starts bloom in spring and does well in shade - mine are in the exact type of location you describe), then edge with some ivy. the coleus adds nice colour to and youcould pair it with some grasses too if you don't want flowers. try "googling" 'shade containers' and you will certainly get lots of ideas there too! good luck :)
I didn't know you can get trailing impatiens. Great! I planted Coleus last year in some other containers and I loved it - not sure why I didn't think of that before. Thanks! I'll take more suggestions if anyone has them. I still have two weeks before I head out for annuals. ;o)
what about coleus in the center as they grow tall and trailing impatiens for the perimeter.
what about begonias in the center and a shade vine for the perimater. I cannot think of a shade vine off hand, sweet potato vine may work or lobelia....
