Feng Shui is one of the most popular new garden trends. It's been around countless centuries and when you "get it", you'll find its the most natural thing in the world.
There is so much to it that I recommend you investigate at the library or a good book store.
Earth elements are utilized and flow and "feel" are integral. It doesn't have to be just Asian-style plants with gravel to rake. Once familiar with the concepts any plants in any setting can be successfully "feng shuied".
Enjoy your adventure.
