My 12 year old granddaughter won her soccer championship today. It was a double treat because my son is the team coach. I want to buy the team girls a treat can anyone suggest something for 11/12 year olds, bearing in mind there are 12 on the team so it can't be Tiffany bracelets. LOL Thanks.

This silly post is still in Gardening & Outdoor Living nevertheless, thanks again everyone for taking the time to offer suggestions. The pool party was yesterday & the Ty stuffed dogs with soccer star ribbons round their necks where a big hit.
I think rewarding the 'champs' is essential - life does reward the cream of the crop - but I don't believe in the aspect of rewarding all for some type of efforts.
Sounds like the girls are going to enjoy their win:)
Thank you to everyone that made suggestions. I don't know how this post ended up on Gardening. Can someone move it to the right thread so the ladies get my reply. I agree with you Lessismore about constantly rewarding children but this is the "Stanley Cup" for the girls who lost a lot of games in the season but worked hard & won in the end. One of the Mums is having a pool party for them & I decided on small stuffed animals wearing a soccer ball key ring. Thanks again.
Wow, very sweet. Just wondering though why you need to actually "buy" them anything.
Why not host a barbeque and share stories about their season with them. Ask them to come in their team shirts and take a photo of all of them together. You can go to Costco and get the photo duplicated for a good price.
It may sound cheap but as a parent I really don't like the idea of my child "getting" something every time they win. Sorry, don't want to offend but it seems that we provide too many material rewards these days.
How sweet and kind of you:)
here might be an interesting place to get some ideas:

I agree with the jewelry theme... maybe you can find a soccer or trophy charm? Then they could put it on their own chain for a necklace or attach it to some other piece of jewelry they may already have. My 12yo DD loves charms. :)
what about paying for a professional photographer sitting fee - in a studio where the lighting is great. Could get a team photo and individual photo. They can then choose to buy whatever photos they want.
You will find lots of things at Claire's or Ardene -- jewelry, nail polish, hair stuff, etc., that girls that age will enjoy. Also, La Senza Girl has some good finds. And don't forget the dollar store -- pencils, erasers and other school stuff would be a good choice at this time of year. You might even find soccer themed stuff.
