Here it is in all it’s shining glory! :D
The beveled mirror seems to cast lines (from the flash) which are not there in real life. ;)

OK

How about a large fern (or similar) beside the chest? It seems a bit bare on the floor beside it. Now I do realize that the photo only takes a snippet of the total room.
Would love to have a martini with you. The chest is fabulous! You have such style. Not cookie cutter like many who simply copy what's in the magazines.
Couldn't have said it better! I love it! And the silver is just the right touch.
Artsy, I love it. Are you using it to store your liquor? Not that a person needs a use for such a thing. In the case of inanimate objects, just being beautiful is enough.
I went to Bombay and loved it in real life, too. I don't have a coupon (and perhaps the sale is over anyway...) so I would have to pay full price.
I will run the prospective purchase past my darling partner. Not that I require permission, but we have rather an abundance of mirrors in our home - I often tell visitors that HE is the vain one, not I. We only have ONE where we can see our feet, though. Perhaps I can use that rationalization - he is overly fond of expensive shoes...
It's so glamourous and classy looking...very unique. Another addition to your beautiful home Artsy.
.....dressing down for the camera then. I want to be able to blend in with everybody else's "everyday look". No stilletos either, I suppose!!
Very nice Artsy! I'll have mine 'neat', no garbage.:D
I’m not sure if I would have imagined this glamour chest in my home prior to dy’n (my personal shopper) suggesting it … but now that I have it, I really love it. I tried to put some colored glass on top but for me it needed something simple and silver. I actually may have to move it depending on how I set-up this room once my dining furniture is placed but I love your idea Jazzie of some greenery.
Paula, my curtain rod was custom made by “my iron guy” as I call him. He made our staircase railling, curtain rods and my garden gate that Dreamer still can’t seem to find. ;)
In the future … we will have camera’s set up in all our rooms and be able to decorate while we watch each other on the forum! That is when I will have my virtual party and invite you guys over. :D
Thanks again to everyone for your ideas and input.
I just LOVE it!! What time are drinks?;) I wouldn't miss it for the world:D
Artsy, When I looked at the first picture I honestly thought it was an inspirational picture. When I got to the 2nd picture, I recognized your curtain rod, WoW! It looks wonderful! You certainly have the eye to balance things and you certainly know when to STOP!
It is absolutely STUNNING!
It's stunning, gorgeous, beautiful and any other words I can think about :)
You're so good! I love it! It looks perfect and beautiful. A wonderful compliment to your picture rails and pictures.
Also, I love your curtain rod - very unusual. May I ask where you purchased it?
.......sheer, sheer, perfection!!! You did a beautiful job accessorizing it too!! I'm sooo happy you got it!!!
You did not disappoint! As always, looking fabulous, and your true style shining through.
If I may make one suggestion ? :D
How about a large fern (or similar) beside the chest? It seems a bit bare on the floor beside it. Now I do realize that the photo only takes a snippet of the total room (I know you work feverishly to disguise anything Dreamy might use as a clue) so this might be unnecessary, but what do you think?
Looks great-a nice little jewel for the room.
Would love to have a martini with you. The chest is fabulous! You have such style. Not cookie cutter like many who simply copy what's in the magazines.
For now I have placed it in front of a window in my dining room. You can see it when you walk through the front door.
Drinks anyone? ;)
