So, we just got our beautiful cork floors and we have designed the island that we want. Now we are trying to price out granite for the countertops. Has anybody here bought granite on Vancouver Island? So far, we have looked at Rona and Home Depot, but Rona wouldn't even give an estimate for granite prices. Has anybody had experience with Home Depot granite installation? I'm not quite sure what I should do next, exept grab my digital camera and post kitchen pics and ask for advice lol!

have you looked at the traditional counter top places like colonial counter tops, island marble, stone trends. They all supply granite but at higher prices than Rona and Home Depot. Check out the yellow pages for counter tops and you'll find many places in town that offer granite. I'm sure their are places up island as well.
