Greyish Brown Paint

Hi,

I am looking for a paint colour that is a light greyish brown.  I would like more of a grey tinge than brown.  I will have white trim and medium brown hardwood floors.  Are there any suggestions as to a colour name?

Thanx

Melissa

I just bought a can of Beauti-Tone (matte) paint called "Plover White" and it's a light grey/brown. The chip didn't look that grey, as I wasn't going for grey, but I like the color as it seems to go well with brown and most everything else.

Just hit your local paint store and ask a clerk and they will provide you will several variations of that colour.  Take them home and tape the colours you lie best onto the all to see which works best for you.  If you are not positive, you can purchase a sample size of the colour.  This is a big enough sample size to paint a porton of the wall to be sure that is what you really want.  This will save you alot of money.  I don't know how many times I have picked a colour I thought would be fabulous, only to find, when the project is finished, that it really does look so good.  You can also go online to the websites of various paint suppliers and see what they have.  (eg.- Benjamin Moore, Para, Colour My World, etc)  Best of luck!!
