Just wondering if there is anyone here from Oakville area that can recommend a great hair stylist in Oakville? (or Mississauga/Burlington area)
One of my friends calls me a 'hair whore' :rolleyes: I've been changing stylists as I can't find 1 that can give me a really good cut.

I had the same problem, I used to work in Toronto and got my haircut there. Now that I don't commute to Toronto, I've had difficulties finding a hairdrsser I was happy with.
I've since found Marina at Total Image in Oakville Place. I've been happy with her. I'm really picky when it comes to layers and she does a great job,

First time on the forum and thought I would reply to your question for a hairdresser. Carrie at Salon Venere located at Dorval and North Service Road in Oakville is good at cutting hair, she doesn't go crazy with the scissors if you know what I mean. Good luck. Luv the forum, it's great to read all the great decorating tips and advice, real decorating for real homes. I will have a few questions for the forum once I master the knack of taking photo's.

Had some luck for a while and then that person left. I didn't really care for the guy that cut my hair the next few times. Could be worth checking out again though. Also went to a place in Sherway (drawing a blank on the name, but they have a few locations) and wasn't bad. Guess I'm just being too picky:rolleyes:
One of my girlfriends has a sytist she really likes at Donatos at Square One Mall in Mississauga. She keeps telling me to go there, but seems like a major pain for parking and all that & I know that I'll end up shopping (oh darn!).
I may have to give it a try.

Been to Civello, Hair Co ++ others and most recently, Atelier. The 1st cut at Atelier was great...2nd cut, a real struggle every day. Guess not really fair to judge someone on just 2 cuts as just getting to know your hair. But...the last cut was just not a good one. However...will likely go back there and give it another shot!! I lived in Hfx for years and had been to so many great stylists so wondering why I'm having such a hard time here??
Maybe there's another really good stylist at Salon Venere. I had actually been thinking about trying this one out...I've never been to that location, but had been to the one on Appleby a couple of years ago.

I hear your frustration. I live in Oakville & had finally found a stylist that gave me great cuts (Brooke at Salon Venere at Dorval/North Service Rd) & now she has left to move back to Nova Scotia.
The search continues....

Have you been to Total Image in the Burlington Mall? I went there in December and got a GREAT cut from Aimee and I have very difficult hair to deal with.
