Hallowe'en Decor

HHassist's picture

Hi everyone.

I have just finished wrapping orange mini-lights around the two miniature potted spruce trees that I keep on my front door step. Or, as my partner would have it- "dressing down" my ordinarily rather elegant trees.

Soon I will haul out the 5" plastic skeleton to hang from the hook that usually holds my wind chimes, the collection of big metal spiders (sorry Elise and Aan) that I like to suspend so they appear to be crawling up the front of the house, and, finally, the little witch's broom my children like to refer to as "mine". This year, I hope to find a cauldron to go with "my" broom.

My kids still like to carve pumpkins, so there will be at least two on the doorstep by October 31.

How does everyone else decorate to greet the ghouls?

it quite adequate for me to just stand on the door step on the very night, that seems to take care of the creepy decor :D

...autumn decorating too, but not a big fan of Halloween stuff. The only thing I put out is a little wooden ghost. I love little ghosts, but hate everything else, sorry.
