A local women from our town is the only female to make it to the final 10 on HGTV Handy Man Super Star. She runs her own woodworking business and does custom furniture building. She also write for a Canadian Building Magazine. It will be fun to see how she does. I am not sure when it airs it was in the local paper this week

I hope she makes it all the way! I saw only a small portion of the show where the ten contestants had to measure and cut the moon and square shapes puzzle.
She did really well :) Mike & Jim were impressed with her plywood project and her knowledge about building codes and in the plumbing challenge. And she ALMOST got the moon & square right :) Hopefully, she'll make it to the top three... and win!!!!
The site says it starts Thursday July 2. How neat to have someone on you can cheer for. One woman they had on last year made it pretty much to the end (final 3 if memory serves).
