The garden is now very colourful and I like to share a few pics - I'll take more soon -. The first hanging basket is with nasturtiums, heliotrope biddens and lobelia. I love how strong the colours looks from the nasturtiums, especially in the evening.

Thanks. This is the first year we're putting nasturtiums in hanging baskets but DH saw it
while traveling in Scotland, they used only biddens and nasturtiums and he said it really looked nice. I think the baskets might get quite large, so you want to put them where there is lots of room for them to grow.

and to tell you the truth I never thought of the nasturtium in a hanging basket. I will pencil that in for next year as I am already over budget tee hee!! Thanks for sharing
garden album would be great. I know what you mean about internet though. Just put in what you feel comfortable with.
I too would love to see it.
But I can't see the harm, if you don't show too much about the house itself. I would love to see an album with your flowers. Just do it!!!!
Thanks. Well, the weather has been good for a long time therefore we have all that "stuff" growing, I feel everything is about 1 month early this year, allyssum and violas are allready on the way out and I have to think of something else for those planters.
The cherries are ripe right now and I've been reaching my arm over to the neighbours tree (haha). I really would like a tree too.I have some veggies, beans, onions, garlic, tomatoes and ton of herbs. Isn't summer great!!

You are too kind. I would'n have the knowledge an expertise to document anything regarding gardening. The climate here is extremely forgiving and with a little fertilizer and ellbow grease, anyone can do this. I've taken some really nice pics and I was thinking to make an album if I'm allowed to do this on the house site.. so people could see a bit better. But then again I've been hesitante to put to much on the internet.

darn u...the pics make my meagre efforts looks so puny...but again...have a goal to achieve LOL...everything is gorgeous...keep the pics coming...
Have you ever thought of publishing a gardening book using your photos?
I'll post more pics soon.
Khyro how nice of you to remember Daisy and Tigger. Daisy is really slowing down (almost 14), we still walk her once a day, very short walks! She is such a sweetheart. Don't know what I'll do without her. Hope your plants will grow soon, please take some pics, all the work you did starting from seeds, I really like to see your flowers. Thanks

Lisi, I just LOVE everything in your garden!! It's so bright and beautiful and lush!!!!
Keep the pictures coming, please :)
Your garden is absolutely breathtaking, and the baskets are gorgeous. I am so far behind. My main garden is full of flowers but my hanging baskets are just tiny buds right now.
I'll have to get around to posting some pics too.
Don't forget to include Daisy and kitty in your pics...I always look for them.

lisi - i have never seen such a beautiful garden! More pics please - when you get a chance. Just can't get enough of your garden.
Thanks. Yes, daily watering and fertilizing every 8-10 days 20-20-20 . I'll post some more baskets with different things in it later this week.
Lisi, I just love looking at any pictures that you post. Your baskets are beautiful. I love how you don't even get a glimpse of the actual basket. Do you water your baskets every day and how ofter to you fertilize? Is fertilizing your key to success
Paula & Foxxy. DH should get most of the credit, he shows me how, I only started to be interested a couple of years ago but like to explore it further. I actually dream of a really shady garden with lots of green foilage, hidden areas with unusual objects, a santuary to retrieve.. one day!

Your garden just keeps getting more beautiful as it grows! Your baskets are all beautiful. I really love the first one with the nastursiums and bidden...so pretty!!
Just beautiful! You have a wonderful yard and obviously a very green thumb!
Oh Lisi what a back yard to have......no wonder you spend hours there.
It is like being in a botanical garden.........you did lots of work but with amazing results.
Thanks for your kind remarks. Glad to hear that you like the mimulus, too bad your window boxes went up a little premature! I always hate to break stuff like that to DH! Hope you'll post pics soon.

Lisi, your baskets are always so nice to look at. Your yard looks like it's out of a gardening magazine!
I put my window boxes up and they doing good! Actually I didn't finish planting them and my husband surprised me the other night and had them up in the windows.... I didn't know what to do thank him or....., now he has to take them down for me to finish them! The mimulus made a big difference in the boxes! Thank you so much again for the introduction of these flowers.
Here is a side view
Here is again the basket with the nasturtiums and the other one has mimulus ,petunias, calceolaria , lobelia and swan river daisies
