:biglol: i was telling bigmama in another post that i was happy today and just wanted to share why im so happy....some of you may remember me speaking about my DD#3 in the past about her not been well since having mono over 19 months ago and having no answers...and we were trying to find a specialist in rheumatology to see her....GUESS WHAT???? finally! we are almost 100% sure that we have one....now that is good news! i spoke to one on the phone this morning and she said just have my family dr send in the referral and they will give us an appointment and he also visits a nearby hospital, so we only have to travel about 30 mins from home....yippeeeeeeeeeee :applaud: now these are the things that really matter in life

yes i never realized mono can be so nasty, that is how the family Dr. feels, that she should be fine now, its been at least 18 months and yes hopefully we will finally get some answers...thank you so much for your kind words!

That's great Janet, you've waited a long time for this appointment, this poor kid has had to plug through daily life with no inkling of why she has bad days. Now maybe you can get to the bottom of all of this. My brother had mono years ago, a real bad case down and out of everything including school for 4 months but never had problems afterwards.

so much everyone for your kind words....on the most part oreo her flare seems to be broken and energy has picked up, the dr is just confused as to why she continues to have joint pain and fatigue off and on....the little trooper, still went to basketball last week and you could tell her legs were in pain and at karate she had to sit out as her arm was in pain...but she keeps plugging along, good days and some bad days

Does she have more energy? I hope this specialist has some insite for you.

I hope and pray that you can get some answers and the dr is able to help dd feel better again.
I always tell my DH that we are very blessed to have 2 healthy boys ( so far) in life and nothing else is as important!!! :)
