Recently I found some spots in the hardwood floor where sealant started to peel off. Those spots are in heavily used room - office, where the chairs are getting rolled all the time. I used to have a plastic matt under, but recently removed it because it started to smell.
Is it a quick fix for it?

thanks. DBD. The house is 8 yo. Who finished it and when I have no idea. So there is no warranty.
But flooring store is a right place to ask, thanks for advise. I'll do so.
If this is prefinished hardwood you may be under warranty and that finish may be defective. If it's site sealed you may want to call a flooring store and see what they have. There are refinishing products you just mop on but the ones I've seen won't adhere if it's down to wood.
If it's old and chipping it might be time to sand and seal.
