has anyone bought a bbque from a loblaws superstore??? They have 2 models..one with stainless steel priced at $387 and another one all black for $l99, that is the one I am interested in. The thing is, the smaller one is just 9000 BTU's and I am not sure that gets hot enough...i Need it soon so any help would be appreciated...

ok we bought it and our neighbour lent us her 4 x 4 so we got it home in the box...was very easy to assemble and...I was wrong (yes I admit it)...its 44,000 BTU's but the side burner is 9,000 BTU's...duh what do I know about btu's???
anyways we fired it up...seemed to work great....glad to hear of someone that has one...would rather burn muh burgers on a cheap BBQ than one that costs twice as much and we like the look of it
My sister and brotherinlaw bought the $199 bbq and they really like it. They use it lots and I haven't heard any complaints about it so far. I hope it works well for you!!
hubby is jealous because he wants that one too! Let me know how it works. Maybe give it a try before you have company and if it's not as good as you had hoped you can always return it.
Good luck!
glad for your reply....I thot it seemed like a good deal too...altho never heard of that brand...i got ticked at our old one and put it out for the garbage never thinking we were having company this weekend...now I gotta get one fast...I guess we will have to take it out of the box in the parking lot to get it home...will never fit in the car otherwise...will let u know how it goes...wish me luck :D
hubby says that 9000 btu's bbq is pretty good. We were also looking at that bbq at Loblaws/Fortinos. It looks like pretty good quality for the money.
