I love Greek food. The children love Greek food. My DP loves Greek food. I want to make some lemon roasted potatoes.
The recipe I have found goes like this:
8 russet potatoes peeled & quartered
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup chicken soup base
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon juice
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp seasoning slt
Combine, bake at 400 uncovered for 30 or 40 minutes.
Does this sound ok to you? Any alterations or additions you would recommend?

....oh that sounds so yummy!!!! I always add butter all over the potatoes and about a cup of water. Also with this recipe you can plop in a leg of lamb all seasoned to perfection and rubbed with some flour. Then bake it all together. It's heaven Dreamy!!!!
I'm sure my ancestors must have given your ancestors the original recipe of lamb with potatoes in the oven, but it must have gone up in smoke when Nero took a match to Rome:D
I would leave out the extra salt as chicken soup base is so salty. Unless you want to use the low salt chicken liquid stock.
