Advice on white paint.

Hello,I'm going to be painting my son's room. I was looking at white paint, but I just don't know which one to pick. His furniture is dark. The bed is an old spindle that I plan on having stained very dark, almost black. His dresser is a shaker style and also has a very dark stain and he has a small antique desk which is painted grey, but distressed and worn. The room is in the south west corner of the house and gets a lot of light. The floors are hardwood, a medium shade. I’d like to use some greys in there and maybe a spot of orange on a pillow.  I really like the softness of the white that is used in Scandinavian style, with hits of black and grey. I also like the industrial look.  I wanted a white that was modern, but not stark. Can anyone help me pick a colour or have suggestions?  Thank you.
