Help with light fixtures please

I am driving myself nuts with light fixtures. We have to choose pendant lights for over the kitchen island and then a chandelier for over the table.
Our style is a combo of New Traditional and Contemporary.
We like these pendant lights for over the island but what do we put with them over the table?? I don't want the two to look foolish because they're both in the same room.

(here's our layout for reference)

we like these

but what to put over the table?? we will also have 5 potlights in the kitchen running the same way as the cabinets.

Why not have more pot lights over the island? Less distracting.

Go to a lighting store and look through their catalogues they will have tons to thumb through. The lights usually come in sets so you can get them alike but not exactly the same. I went and found the style I liked and then bought ones similar in style at Home Depot for 1/4 the price.

If you are not sure what to get and you feel under pressure to get the light now get the electrician to cap the dining area light until you decide what you want. We did that once. That way you will have more time to look for what you want. Looks like a lovely house BTW!

With our pendant our designer suggested an uplight. She thought it wouldn't compete so much with the pendant.

I really like the styles that Mrs. Fancy posted.

Have you tried Rona. They did have some along those lines a while ago.

I really like your choice for your pendant!! VERY NICE and contemporary :)

My first choice/ would be the drum type of light. I personally like the drum light especially if it is similar with the glass outer "shade", I think it would give more light (which is dimable).
Can you get the same lights you like for pendants in another shape for over the
DR table.
What is the name/manufacturer of the pendants shown above?

Thanks. I didn't see anything matching for a bigger pendant/chandelier. The pendants are actually from Cdn Tire ($59.99 each)- I know good deal huh?

If we can't find anything DH and I both like to match then we may change our mind on those pendants.

Thanks everyone- keep the suggestions coming!

since your minipendants are modern style, I think for your dining space something like that will work:
