Hi Cheryl,

Here are a few sectionals that feature throw pillows:
- 8 http://houseandhome.com/tv/segment/colourful-family-room-makeover

- 5 http://houseandhome.com/tv/segment/modern-masterpiece

- around 5 http://houseandhome.com/tv/segment/youthful-condo-update

- 3 http://houseandhome.com/design/modern-furnishings-sleek-basement

Some of these homes also showcase pillows of different sizes, so you could always mix sizes, too.

I'd say 9 pillows would be your best bet as It seems like quite a bit surface area to cover. If you had  variety of sizes, that would look really good. I was going to buy pillows online for my sofas but making them seems so much better, great thinking!

Thanks Harriet,But our current house has a lot of black/silver that I can't change right now.  I want to incorporate a transitional ethnic feel to the space.  The insiration is below:http://www.evasonaike.com/ Any advice?

The best pillows you could use would be light for me, creams etc to really contrast nicely with the dark leather, creating a really classic look
