I have finished the first project of this year out in the garden. Figured I'd start with the easiest one:) I have two beds along the garage that are perfect for an herb garden, right next to the kitchen window...mmmmmmm. I had some perennial herbs come back from last year and added the more commonly used ones for cooking that are annuals.
I also threw in a few echinacea along the back, Coleus on the hanging planter, a clematis that I killed last year and some fountain grass at the end (that will have to be moved because I was informed it needs full sun and that it won't get where its planted). As I shopped for this garden I also picked up Coleus and Bacopa white(trailer) for my urns...AND a pair of awesome purply/pink thorny bushes..Rose Glow Barberry. My grandparents had that in their garden years ago and I just love the way it looks.
first are pictures of the two bushes, and my urn arrangement, hopefully the plants in the urn will do well and grow full.
