Hey all, this is the only pic I have right now. I will say that I disagreed with the choice of the dark pink tulle decorating the archway..but in the pics it looks half decent. The wedding took place in my aunt's backyard.
You can see the kids in their lil pink dresses, and also the bridemaids. Don't you think the bouquets look AMAZING with the brown dresses and the green backdrop??
I promise to post better pics when I get my hands on some.
:) Mel

it will take them many many many years to learn to love those curls...i have those curls..and spend many many many hours flattening them out...but i have also had my days when i work with them...and damn i like them...LOL
JMO, but the prettiest people there were the two little ones. Hope they always appreciate those curls. I spent many $$ trying to get that look. At the same time my friends that had curls were flattening theirs on the ironing board.
Mel, your girls look more like princesses than flower girls.....everyone is dressed so nicely including of course the bride's dress, gorgeous
for sharing your pics mel....the brown and pink is very nice but im real partial to that color combo :D the girls look like little princesses!

    This was a pic first when they got up there...they did actually move closer to each other..and held hands even!!! hehe.
I agree about the arch Jen..and Jeep, but it rained ftill 2 pm that day, and I was busy doing EVERYTHING else..so I left the arch decorating up to the bride's mom. I had a bit of a hard time delegating..some even called me a "control freak"...who me?? Seems like I spent the entire day and night running around doing something or another. I was literally pinning the flowers on the men's lapels SECONDS before they walked down the aisle!!
Anyway, the ceremony was wonderful..very "bohemien". Much like the bride herself. She walked down the aisle with both parents while her brother and close friend played guitar and mandolin. My oldest read a lovely poem about True Love. Two friends sang "In My Life" by the Beatles while the happy couple signed the register. And we all blew bubbles as they made their exit. Of course, my youngest danced and skipped and wandered about during the whole ceremony..which provided much comic relief.
The reception was catered by a family friend also known as the "Cleavage Chef". The meal was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! And there was an open bar. The Bride's father is a fairly well known musican in Newfoundland, so he and his band played a few sets.
Oh yeah...THE CEILING DECORATIONS WORKED!!!! :fireworks I can't wait to show you all the pics!!!
Thats it for now.

LMAO...that's what i was thinking...LOL...i was wondering why too...maybe it was a no touchy touchy til AFTER the ceremony...LOL :D
The brown and pink does look nice I'm with you not crazy about the beight pink tulle. Why dothey have the Bride and Groom so far apart it looks like theya re afraid of each other. The girls look so cute.
cool Mel...i don't think the pink tulle was all that bad...but it could have used some flowers on it .....the girls look adorable
