i got mine in the mail....and guess what? there is actually color in dark shades and pastels....it is nice to see some color. :clapping: Im also finding that im really likeing the idea of a little bit of bling.........such as glass and shiney metals instead of black........for a while i was buying everything dark for accessories now im finding that im leaning towards the shiner softer look.....oh this good be bad...i have already changed my black clock to a shiney silvery color and my candle sticks are now glass and the next to go is my dark heavy looking dining room light, :D .........im loving some of the new trends! Do any of you find yourself attracted to a different look in accessories? I watched Divine Design tonight and she created my dream bedroom, well almost....and it had lots of bling.

of trends.......not sure if this is a trend or not....for all i know it could be a classic....some of you may recall that i brought home the ottomon which i really loved and it had the curved legs and tufted top (which i would love to go back and get, but not sure if the style is too off for the sofa, than again does that really matter? :confused: ).........im seeing many peices with the curved legs, in all different pieces.

i think its a breath of fresh air from everything being so dark for so long....you would have loved the glass chandelier type light that Candice Olsen hung in front of the window above the window seat in the bedroom, the sunlight reflected off it and she also hung a blingy chandelier above the bed. :D oops sorry i didnt clue in that you said you watched the show tonight....the headboard was gorgeous..........no, this issue is called "The Trends issue...i would have to look at my magazines to see which month had that one, i think it was Decembers.

Yes -- I've gone from being anti-bling to being quite blingy :) I hung a chandelier in the ensuite, want to hang one in the bedroom, have silver & mirrored accents in the bedroom.... how did this happen!? :eek: ;)
I saw Divine Design tonight too. I really liked the headboard, especially the silver nailhead accents. I was thinking of doing the same thing on our headboard (when we finally get around to making it!!).
Ooops, forgot to ask -- is the issue of H&H you're talking about the 20th anniversary issue??
