hope u don't laugh when i tell u where i saw this recipe of DIY lipgloss being made..........."fingertips" show on TVO. i saw them taking 2 tsp of petrolium jelly(vaseline), old lipstick & a bit of food flavoring..........in the show they used strawberry flavor.........mixed everything together & stored in a bottle.................hope it helps.......the amt of lipstick depends on how much color u want
