How do you store your dishwashing soap, etc?

Since our kitchen is almost done I was wondering how most people here store their dishwashing soap by the sink and what all you keep there? Pretty bottles? Store bought bottles? Do you keep mosturizer there? What about anitbacterial soap? How about the sponges etc? I was debating whether i should go for those william sonoma or RH three packs or keep my own products in nice glass containers (labelled?). I'm really interested in what you do? I hope you don't think I'm crazy....hehe. :)

Well right now I'm keeping mine in a clear spouted bottle and I keep a hand soap one as well in a pretty container............my hand lotion is under the sink along with the dishwashing tablets in a plastic container (dollar store buy)..........we will be shopping soon for a sink and faucet and have to think about what I want...........I've always wanted the soap dispensing installed under the sink so it will be one bottle out of the way but DH doesn't like the idea..........I'll have to see what happens when I go shopping for the faucet

I like those clear bottles with the stainless steel detail.

I keep mine in a pretty bottle on the counter. I find it really handy and it has a pump so I use it for hand soap as well.Mine is from Umbra and I bought it at S/S

I used to do the olive oil bottle thing too, but found that it kept getting clogged up when the soap gummed up. Now I just keep it under the sink. I love those glass pump bottles though - makes me want to rethink things!

I keep my liquid dish soap in a glass olive oil bottle with the spout. It came from Winner's years back for $5.99. The tube of hand cream is out too, but all the rest is under the sink in a plastic Dollar store basket. :)

You're not crazy. Martha Stewart recommended getting nice decorator bottles for soaps a while back. YOU can also use just about any bottle if you put a spout (like they use in bars) in it.

Not that my kitchen is a shinning example of anything, but the only bottle near the sink is for washing hands. Because I feed the dog raw food I keep an antibacterial there. All other soaps and such are under the sink and hand cream is in the bathroom.

Well, I just put my store bought dish detergent under the sink, but I really like the idea of the nice bottles like you showed - I've often thought about doing something like - I think it looks really nice and clean. Go for it - I like both pictures you showed.
