I've been waiting months for them to bloom -- well, actually going back to last year, almost 1-1/2 years!! I'm not sure if I'll have the heart to cut them and bring them inside once they're in full bloom!! I might have to stick with my fake ones indoors :)
Have you have cut them at full bloom and colour for inside your home?
They are gorgeous inside as dried flowers.
Here's a pic of the whole plant (it's actually 2 plants side-by-side):
The blooms are really starting to change colour now, from plain to all different shades of blue and purple and pink. Here's my favourite so far:
those hydrangeas are going to be gorgeous. I'd love to see a picture when they're in full bloom! I hope my Nikko hydrangea blooms are blue when it blooms!

I also bought some silk hydrangeas from Michael's -- they were on sale, I think 50% off. And you're right, no watering required :)
Thanks for posting the pic. They are looking great and no watering needed! Yes, I think I'll get some soon, we don't have a Walmart but have Michaels, they have lots of stuff there.
Lisi, even though you have a gorgeous garden, there's no reason why you shouldn't buy silk hydrangeas for your home :)
Here's a pic of the ones I got at WalMart -- they look just like the real thing, and best of all, I can't kill them!! ;)
Smoodgie! Wish I had those, always liked the idea to have some (dried) in a vase or urn on my dining-room table. Actually looked at silk ones the other day but felt uncomfortable buying some - considering all the real flowers I have in the garden!!

This is the bluest of all the buds....
