I need help with a 80's oak kitchen facelift

HI
I am giving my 1980's oak kitchen a facelift and am on a Budget. So far my husband have taken down the awful sunshine ceiling, stripped the cabinets and have began to stain them in a dark teak colour. So much work! I am going to replace the tube light with pot lights and would like to hang a pendant light over my kitchen sink. I am also going to add crown molding to my cabinets.
What I need help with is playing down my dated grey Corian counter tops. I can not afford to replace them and absolutely hate the white strip along the edge. Any Ideas on what should I do with the back splash? and flooring? Or what I can do to hide the white Stripes on the corian?

Hi! My dear your kitchen still looks nice, However all you need is just a little renovation, so just try to repaint it if you want, brighter color would do best, try the shades of green.
