Our pets have finally done it -- they've driven my normally calm, cool, and collected hubby around the bend. They've been driving me crazy for ages, but it's a bad sign that now they're driving HIM crazy too :hairpull:
Here's a brief outline of the problems:
Smokey the cat: Pisses and craps everywhere EXCEPT in his litterbox. Hubby cleans the box every day, he doesn't share the litterbox with the other cat, he doesn't even live on the same floor of the house as the other cat.
Carbo the dog: Also pisses and craps wherever he pleases. Including a piss and two craps on the basement floor and carpet last night. This didn't go over well with hubby, who spent three straight days cleaning the entire basement and trying to get rid of the cat odours.
Kylie the dog: Doesn't piss and crap in the house, but for one straight month woke us up every night at 3:00AM to go out. She's also in hubby's bad books right now, because she ripped apart the screen door that hubby repaired on the weekend and reinstalled. This is also the dog that has destroyed window screens, window trim, a patio door, and a steel door.
Squirt the dog: We cannot leave anything on the floor, on the countertop, on the coffee table -- if we do, she'll take it. I've lost so many socks that she's stolen. She's taken food off the counter. She's taken non-food off the counter (plastic bags, camera bag, soap, plastic containers....) She's even taken stuff out of the sink, and she'll open the closet door and steal shoes.
Chibbley the cat: Seems to be the only one of the bunch that actually behaves!!
What can we do???? I love our pets, but we can't have them destroying our house and ruling us.
