My DP's late mother was French-Canadian. She used to make him Sugar Pie, which he loves. I wish I had her recipe - does anyone have one?

I did a google search for baking directions and found a similar recipe that I tried:

2 cups brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 cup Carnation Milk
2 eggs

All ingredients are beaten together, poured into unbaked pie shell, then cooked at 425 for 10 minutes, then at 350 for 25 more minutes. My DP says it tasted like his mom's except for the pie crust (which was store bought). Ah well. I never claimed to be a baker, and he seemed pretty happy anyway.

If you can get Suzie's cooking instructions I will try your recipe next time, and use the expensive, bakery-bought pie shell.
