When you get tired of the black, paint it. I'd love to see it in white. But for the price you really can't go wrong. I don't usually even like canopy beds but I bet if there were an Arrow Furniture in my neck of the woods I'd be buying this one! :D
It's so funny when I saw this post I was thinking about this bed (I've been debating it all week since I saw it) but I just can't come to terms with the black. It's a great price though, I've seen it at Sears for $1749 (for just the BED!) and at Colonial and the Brick for ~$700-$800. I love it but I just don't think all the big black furniture is something I can live with in the long run but man it's a beautiful bed, and even more beautiful in person, the detailing is gorgeous!
i say she had better have pics of it in here bedroom for monday....i just have not patience for waiting lol

... I have a twin bed (which was my husband's when he was a kid !) in our guest bedroom (also the den / room where the junk collects) and I can't seem to get rid of my guests!!! :D

i've got something like that on my guest room bed with sheers
this would be easy too...just 4 or 8 drapery panels depending on which way you prefer it.

I had this saved for future reference as I may do this with my bed, although I have no posts I think I can come up a way to suspend this canopy. The reason being is that my bed is angled across the corner and this may just finish off the look. It looks very easy to do with dowling and fabric.
spoiled one lol the bed is faboulous, i say if you like it, go for it....very nice

It is truly a very gorgeous piece of furniture. It reminds me of a South Pacific island retreat room. Just think of the great bedding you can do that up with.
I love black furniture! YAhoooooooooooooo! So nice. (I'm already in a better, more refreshed mood and ready to shop!) I would love one too! BTW, I painted all my bedroom furniture black and used brushed knobs and I love it. Hope all is well Jen Jen!

I would have put that style of bed in our bedroom, except that our room was too small and I didn't think DH would be very happy having to always skip over the bed to get to the bathroom.

OHHHHH Cat...thank you for coming back!!!...i've missed you!!!...no shopping tomorrow...have a hockey tourney 2 hours away...but DH is supposed to go look at it...he better...LOL...ya i'm waiting to see those blue walls :D
