I have a very small home that it decorated in soft beiges, greens, yellows and accents of white.
At the moment I have white appliances that were all that I could afford when I bought the place. My floors are an oak colour in wide planks. You can see the fridge from the living room.
I am saving and searching for new appliances.
Although more difficult to find I want some feedback from others about the purchase of appliances in a bisque colour rather than buying stainless steel which to me seems to give a more modern look. Would brushed stainless steel be acceptable to anyone reading this or should I pursue my search for bisque coloured appliances? Does anyone know of an economical source?
The other appliance that is very much "on show" is the microwave. Does anyone have a good source for microwaves (I need only a very small one) in different colours? Everything today seems to be red, black or stainless!

<p>Hi, for major appliances it's recommended to invest in either black, white, or stainless steel, mainly for resale value. I've seen fridges and stoves with bisque color and they are not everyone's taste. Brushed stainless steel would be a good choice and the prices now have come down significantly.</p>
