OK

but I asked my son what his dream car would be.....today it's a corvette...there's alot of them in our area.....recently he's had his eye on a vibrant metallic orange one on the next block. He doesn't seem too concerned that there's nowhere for him to sit I guess he's content to just look at it and sit in the drivers seat in the driveway and pretend he's driving it. He knew the chevy belair on sight when I showed him your picture jenjen. He's a self-proclaimed expert as far as classics cars go. He can tell me what make and year by looking at it.....I think the poor child is obsessed.....Unfortunately on our income we won't be getting him his "car collection" this year. He's already decided that when he gets his licence in 8 years he'll drive a "beater" for a year or two before getting a "serious piece of machinery". Where do they get this stuff???
a new Austin Mini. Saw the movie Italian Job and fell in love. Sadly, there is not enough room for three kids 14, 12 & a carseat! I am stuck with the mini VAN for a few more years.
Indigo...we already have a two seater that sits in the garage and collects dust...i keep telling him he certainly doesn't need another... :)
I love our volvo...we also have a 2004 S70 SE (black of course..lol) The butt warmers are always a big hit with passengers...and today, I'm glad we have them...
We test drove a black Volvo S60 when we were in Edmonton recently. I must admit it was very delicious. And tempting - it was a 2005 demo on sale!
midcenturymadam,
are you sure that is where it would stay?:D I get a lot of flack from Audi enthusiasts about storing it in the winter.
Jenjen, made a mistake there...225hp was offered starting that year not 240.
She'd look mighty nice in my garage!
Jenjen,
ahhh...i c...well, if he's ever in the market I have nothing but good things to say about it...very reliable car, I've had only minor sensor problems and my experience with Audi dealerships has been exceptionally good. Its darn good on gas as well. My only recommendation for someone looking for a used model would be to get one no older than 2001 at which point 240hp was being offered. Oh another fun thing...it is turbo charged!:) woo hoo!!!
no he loves your tt....
I'm assuming you're talking about the stang. they are hot! that new one is smokin'!!! It was a real toss up for me between the stang and the tt....but I chose the tt for its handling..plus its 5 years old with low mileage and I got a dirty deal from my brother in law. You know I change my mind about the Lamborghini....I would never be able to afford the insurance on such a thing!lol...
I'll take the new mustang instead!!!!
MCM...HA HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!....ya i guess i do...LOL
Turns out you DO like mid century design Jen Jen!!!
go for the black...(we just happen to have one parked in our garage in black...I think it adds to the decor of the garage... ya know.. always have something black to ground a place.. lol)
fully loaded 2006 Volvo S60 in my driveway. Blue would be fine.
Indigo...my DH loves that car...my brother has a Mustang Bullit...and just ordered and left a deposit for the new Shelby Mustang
and I had a choice...it would be the 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III (i'd make hubby wear the chauffeur hat...lol)
had a '69 Dodge Charger in Candy Apple Red with black hood stripes. It was such a cool car. We had it brand spanking new and he totalled in on a business trip in the States. I am so glad he was okay when he drove under the transport truck with it. the transport pulle dout in front of him on the highway. :; Just a few lacerations - but the car - OMG! Don't know how he walked away. His passenger had broken ribs - lucky guys.
My favourite car is a Morgan. Classy, cool and looks like a little Roadster. Meep Meep!!
I would choose any make, model as long as it came with a chauffeur. LOL
LOL! A VW Touareg
my hubby loves the new charger. I think its pretty hot from the front end with those mean lookin' headlights but the tail end is a bit too boxy.
I really like the new mustang..talk about a change in design over a year! I was thinking about buying one this past spring but ended up falling inlove with this
little devil.....sadly I will store her for the winter because I want her to live as long as possible!:D Come spring I will treat her to a bit of 'umph' and upgrade her capabilities.
now if someone were to give me a car...hmmm....I think lamborgini countache would be on top of the list!
anything I wanted, I would have a hard time ! I like the old 1930's Alvis (his one is 1935); I would also love a minivan, a Hummer3, or an Mazda Miata . . . .
I would have to say the 2006 brand new Saturn Sky. Still great on gas (you know it will go up again) and not so outragiously priced as to not enjoy driving it. I think that is what our next car is gonna be as the lease is up next year. I can hardly wait. :D
hubby always attends the car show in toronto each year and there was a big one that came here a couple of times....geesh, cant remember the name now...but they travel all over....the one year he was devastated as he missed it while being in the hospital with a heart problem, that tells you how much of a car nut he is....more worried about the cars then his heart...meanwhile im freaking lol

Has a huge car show every Sept. and they would line up right in front of my house. The pararde would go by and we would sit and drool for about an hour as they went by. Saw many of those DH loves the little Hot Rods that don't have a motor cover and big slicks and go like crazy.
said if i won money i would bring him home one...lol

ha i wish...not mine...that car is worth about $45-$50,000....it's what DH wants...lol...i did find him one for $17,000...but he didn't like the fact it was purple...
is that your car? i think he has the diecast like that...that is a beauty
smiles
janetc

I think mine would be if I ever replaced my Jeep would be a Mini Convertible wll maybe a Mercedes or maybe a new Vette or maybe a new Caddie Sports coupe. I guess anything sporty fast and sleek would do. :D
