Hi there, this is my first time here, what a great site! I'm looking for tips on getting bulbs to flower indoors. Only my paperwhites bloomed last year. I got plenty of green but no blooms. I just planted a bunch today, they were all sprouting in my garage, including crocuses, mini daffodils and tulips. Do I need bone meal or another fertilizer? I have them right in the window. Thanks for any tips, Nina.

Given that they were already sprouting, I hope you've planted them up. The idea behind bulbs is that they have everything they need to bloom inside themselves. If you want to try to save these bulbs for next year, they should be fed, after blooming, and you must let the foliage die down naturally. Being in the window, you'll have to give them a 1/4 turn every few days.
I'm new to this site as well, and just love it. I spend my summers at our local Farmers' Market selling perennials and doling out free garden advice. I feel that there's a solution to every gardening problem and the right plants for ANY space. Sometimes you just have to hunt around for the right answer. And experiment!!
My plan is to start at the newest postings and work my way backwards, answering what I can. Fun and relaxing for me!
