interesting garden objects

Okay, another site I found that has some interesting uses for everyday objects. I love what they did with the door and windows and the pedistal sink/bird bath cracks me up. There is also a dresser made into a planter and I have seen this done using all the drawers. The person that did it warned me that you have to put some very heavy rocks in the back to counter the weight of the drawers.

Some very interesting ideas there! I really like the idea of reusing things from the house outside in the garden.

Those crazy huge wall spoon and forks that people hung in the kitchen in the 70's would be really fun repainted for outdoors and hung near an outside table, or the BBQ! Or, they could also be fun hung on a fence over a vegetable garden. (edibles!) The type of paint job could be as simple as a coat of red, Mary Engelbreit enspired as in little painted cherries over a plain background, or a little wild done up in a Pucci/psycadelic, multicolour pattern. They are pretty easy to find in thrift shops. :)
