www.vitcas.com has many faux brick wallpapers with texture.
I think there is no need to seal exposed bricks as it gives unique look to a place which is different from what is usually seen at properties.
Our kitchen has exposed brick on 1 wall, and in the duplex we rented earlier, we had a lot of exposed brick. I don't think it was sealed though. I love the look of it.
