I'm repainting my living room, it's a log home the exterior walls are natural logs, other walls are drywall, currently painted P&L Gladsome (a bit too yellow for my liking) flooring is terra cotta coloured tiles.
I'm thinking of a taupe-ish green, or gold. Should I go with something that is more like the floors, or, more like the logs?
Thanks for considering this.

Can you recommend a colour similar to Stormy Weather? Olympic paints are not available where I am located, is there a similar colour in BM or P&L? I can also get Home Hardware paint here.
I might add, I have a very dark green leather sofa (which will not be going anywhere soon) and a stained glass window, (maybe 5'x 3') with green, blue, red, orange and purple flowers, sounds rather over the top, but it is really very nice.
Does this additional information bring out any other suggestions?
Many thanks.
I think I would go something contrasting abit. I think if it was gold or yellow tones, it blends in too much with the logs and everything will start looking like the same colour. I would go towards the green side or grey green.
What about a lighter taupe, which would work with the terra cotta floors? e.g. http://houseandhome.com/design/photo-gallery-top-paint-picks-2011?page=11
Then you can introduce more colour with your drapes and accessories...
