I've just come back from Rome where the jasmine is so rich it can cover the front of a house! I've always believed this was a southern hemisphere plant but I recently saw it in an issue of House & Home. Does anyone think I can grow jasmine in midtown Toronto? You should know that I'm not a naturally good gardener -- I have a rather brown thumb. My first choice would be to put in on a fence that faces west. My second choice would be to put it in a somewhat sunnier location on a porch that faces east. Do you think I can do it? Got any hints?
