Bet you are in info overload right now. Such a major decision. My only advice is to go slowly, but that's easier said than done if you're searching in a hot market. If you haven't lived in the city you're looking in, I would stick my stuff in storage for 6 months while you get a feel for the surroundings. I have always said this but didn't do it when we bought a couple of years ago. Wish we had because we ended up in what Iknow think is the second best locaation for us. I'm talking the area of the city, not the city itself. Not a bad decision, just made in haste.
