Ok so looking for a job is such a downer!! I had to leave my fav job ever when we moved and I have been trying to motivate myself for weeks and weeks to get out there but wow is that ever a hard thing to do!! In all that time there has only been one ad for my type of job so I applied there but they havent called me, so I need to get out there and just drop off resumes. I know a lot of jobs dont get advertised but cold calls make me want to hide in my house!!!
So I guess I am looking for some advice as to how to get motivated!! help!

Does the fear of being homeless if you don't get out there work for you? That possibility would motivate me.
What about industry websites. Have you tried Workopolis, Charity Village or what about Linkedin? I hear that's a great site too.
Bottom line though is we cannot make you do anything you don't want. Talk to that gal in the mirror and give her Halifax and tell HER to get going!
