We just changed our gold door knobs to the Rona ones that you have.
Question for you...
Did you need dummy knobs anywhere in your home, if so what did you do?
We have a double door entry to our master bedroom which has one on one side and our entry closets have them as well.
Rona says they don't sell them in the $7.99 style.
It's either by the expensive dummy handles or drill holes???

Thanks in advance!

Jake said that he drilled the hole for the barrel, but you don't really have to. You can just use the handles. The barrel should be removeable.

Thanks for responding!
Yes, what a difference they make, for the better!!

I don't think he really put much thought into it but my husband said you can't remove the cylinder joining the two sides, how did you remove it?

Our doors with the dummy handles don't have any holes other than the screw holes in them. So we would have to drill a large hole for the cylinder if it doesn't come off???

Your house is looking great!
Thanks again.

Hey Beans, looks better now doesn't it! Yes, we needed a dummy set for the master bedroom but we just used another one of the rona ones, without the lock part. I just asked Jake, he described something like just screw the handles in and don't use the lock chamber. Does this make sense? I don't know much about how it worked, but if you still need help I'll get a photo of it for you.
