Kitchen paint and lighting options

Hello All:
I am new to this, but just could not resist after reading all the great posts and advice.  Okay here goes.....
My husband and I are in the middle of a small renovation to our kitchen, nothing structural, so far we have put in new counter tops, (Bianco Antico granite), new 36" range, built in fridge in stainless steel, my husband built the island you see in the picture, we have ordered new door fronts for the perimeter cabinets, they will still be white with a couple of glass door fronts (would you go with clear or textured?), the cabinets are a shaker style.  The light fixture above the island is new, and here is where my questions begin.  I want to replace the light above the table, any suggestions.  The light above the island is from Restoration Hardware, so I could get the same style only a single larger one, but I don't know if that will be too matchy-match!  I saw one on a website CSNLighting.com, it is the same style.  I also love one that I saw on the Restoration Hardware website called the "Reese".  Any thoughts as to what would look best?

Then I want to paint the kitchen.  I am looking for a blue-gray colour paint.  Has anyone used the BM Affinity paint colour:  Crystalline AF-485?  I really don't want anything too blue, or too green, or something that is going to make the kitchen/family room feel too cold.
I am attaching a picture of my kitchen in it's present state.  The backsplash is on order, it is a small glass subway tile in a chocolate colour, which I hope will be really nice.

Any suggestions would be welcome!
