I have a large kitchen with blue counter tops and a white backsplash with a different color tile every 6 inches. I want to paint out the current blue walls. What color should I use. I also have a bulkhead I could paint in a different color? My new floor will be dark walnut but I cannot change the countertops or backsplash. Any ideas? Thanks

Some interior designers recommend having a lighter coloured floor and ceiling and darker walls in smaller spaces. This give the illusion of increased space, where the opposite can be true for very large kitchens. Whatever style of floor or "wall tiles" you choose, be sure to shop around for the best prices as you don’t want to compromise on style.
You can use sky blue or light orange color or bright white with blue.
I would paint the walls white - the best colour to go with the blue counter tops and wooden floors. You can add in another colour such as citrus or orange in accessories. As for the bulk head, I would paint it the same colour as the ceiling and this is where you could tint the ceiling paint a very pale, pale shade of blue or grey. By painting the bulk head, it should make your ceiling look higher.
I think you should use any light color which goes perfectly with blue .
