I am planning on refinishing my existing wood cabinets in the kitchen of my new home. The countertops are brand new and are a white quartz. The existing cabinets are a deep cherry, but more on the reddish tone. We plan on customizing the look of the cabinets by bringing the cabinets up to the ceiling with some upper display cabinets with glass doors and lighting. All of the appliances have been upgraded to stainless steel and we are also looking for some help on selecting the colour for the backsplash tiles and the flooring. Can you please help!!!
1) What colour should we refinish the cabinets?
2) What tiles should we put on the floor and for the backsplash?

I think Dark color is best suited for refinish the cabinets and take light color for backsplash.

Modular kitchen
Nice backsplash, many older style kitchens have a 4 inch band of tiles on the wall above the counter. You can make your kitchen look instantly more modern by filling in whole space between the counter and the upper cabinets. Try using glass tiled backsplashes which come in a handy 12' x 12' size, making it quicker and easier to tile your walls.
please suggest some color combination of counter top and wall tiles matched with wooden cabinets for my kitchen renovation.
We can use Cork floors in Kitchen which are not only environmentally friendly but If you suffer from allergies on a regular basis, cork flooring will help put your sniffles and sinus pain to rest.
Hi Ranyab, there are lots of choices for backsplash, the most classic way is to have white subway tiles, but there are other materials that would work, such as mosaic marble tiles or contemporary glass strips. As for flooring, it really depends what you have around the rest of you home. Nowadays it's quite common to have wood flooring in kitchens.
