I've got a few projects to do that I could do with MDF but I really like the look of LVL--Peter Fallico uses it alot on Home to Stay. I can't find anywhere to buy it though. Anyone out there used this product before and if so WHERE did you get it? What's the price point and is it like lumber in terms of length eg 2 x 4?

Thanks! I'll let you know how I make out. Going to the home show tomorrow and hoping to fish around there too.
Try any Rona stores, or any supply places builders buy their stuff.
Our local Hardware and Building supplier has different woods, laminated as well-finished plywood on both sides, in large sheets and in thickness from 1/4 inch to 1 inch.
Depending on what size vehicle you are taking it home in, and the dimension of your project, for a small charge per cut, you can get a large sheet cut by the supplier.
thanks for the info! Unfortunately I am not in western Canada and I am in a fairly rural area so it looks like a trip to the big smoke for me.
If you are in WEstern Can. Windsor Plywood carries some. Usually you need to go to actual lumber stores that cater to DIY/pro customers. Places like big box stores generally only carry something like birch which is good, but not if you want walnut or cherry.
If you check your yellow pages under lumber, you should be able to find the independent stores that carry it.
