I have a landscape designer coming for the first visit on Tuesday to take a look and start a plan for me. what questions should I be asking her I already asked how much? She said she charges $50.00 p/h to do the design. Does that sound right. She gave me a list of things to think about befroe she comes but I don't know what to expect. i have a new house no landscaping at all so I want to do it right.

it is best to let her know how much time you plan to spend maintaining the garden each day/week. That is do you want a garden that takes liitle work. Also let her know your flower colour preferences.
Do you want some plants for privacy, some flowers for cutting for indoors? flowering bushes or not, all perennials or a mix of them and annuals? Do you want something in bloom almost each month so you have colour all the time?
It is best to have pictures on hand so she knows what you like.
but I would look at pictures and have them ready to show her what kind of things you like.
