Yes.... from what have seen. Not that most people here in Canada will know what a Maltese looks like.

They don't sound like Arabs, but then again, most people I meet, think am Australian, because of my London Cockney accent. There 3 different accents in London, the coronation street one, is not one of them

My parents are there right now at their house, as it's cold in England. It's only 1.5 to 2hrs flight from where they are in England. The joys of being retired and all that ;) I have spent more time in Greece than my wife has, because she is from here, and am near to Greece back home.

I just love the place, and Cyprus, and it's close proximity with Turkey ( home of lovely ( KEBABS ) :p

I have always had a soft spot for gardening since I was a kid. My 1st degree is in environmental science, but that has nothing to do with the gardening inclination.

Spent a lot of time in the medittaranean with my parents growing up, and on my own over the years, and it always amazed me how people live off their gardens.

Don't know if I'll be doing some this summer, as we are moving to the new house when it is built.

1st link......In June this is how everything looked.

2nd link.....A month later this is how it looked.

3rd link.....My tomato plants went a little crazy on me. I think i should have had maybe 3 or 4 tops but I had 10.
Here it was in the beginning

4th link.......Here they are about 2 months in

Trust me, all that pepper found some use in the end, and a lot of it went on cooking and BBQ at the cottage over the summer.

My garden is about 5 feet x 15 feet in size.

I didn't use anything special at all which is surprising. I bascially dug up the ground and used over 50 bags of top soil and manure. I just made sure to water it every day. I only used fertilizer once and that was maybe 1 month in. I think it is was because I used all fresh new soil the garden turned out so well. I'm going to start the garden earlier next time.

I did not have any problems with pests surprisingly . Only the leaves of my eggplants were eaten up. That didn't affect the output as I still got about 7 eggplants per plant.

What would anyone do with that many peppers. Tomatoes yes but peppers man I wouldn't use that many in a lifetime. Nice garden

WOW, what the heck do you feed them? Mine never yield that much crop. We had lots of beans though last year and the kale just kept growing and growing till the first snow.

Oh, I can't wait to see that vegetable garden blooming again. :D
