It was slightly lighter than the original so I think the next time there is a load of whites I might try the product again to even the pillowcases and flat sheet out. I don't think most people would notice the difference though and I really had to look to notice the difference.
Arizona - how did your sheet compare to the original in the end?
I finally remembered to buy the RIT, I went to Walmart and I discovered another colour remover product called White Brite which I have never seen before. It is much better value than RIT so I bought it and it worked like a charm, the sheet is clean looking and it's just in the dryer now so I can compare it with the matching flat sheet later to see if the product removed the original colour out but it looks the same to me.
So, a product that really works.
I'll give Rit a try, I used it once before when the whites came out pink and it kind of yellowed everything but the sheet was originally ivory so it might work out. Darn, I was at Walmart earlier today too.
I don't think I have any more Oxyclean left. When that stuff first came out I really liked it but then I found it just wasn't very effective so I stopped buying it.
Maybe Oxyclean would help.
