We are now remodeling the bathroom and we had over the bathtub a "false ceiling" builted the same shape of the thub (corner romain bathtub) with recessed spot lights (3).
That was nice 12 years ago but now it is time to change.... So for the moment the false ceiling is gone an we don't want recessed lighting anymore. What kind of lights can we install over a bathtub ? I saw many flush lights but as I have another light in front of the toilet cabinet I will need a pair... That's my dilemna... same model seems to much.
Any ideas ?

The bathroom is big enough to have washer and dryer in a closet. We did not begin to paint yet but finally I choose two mini chandeliers and one is going over the bathtub and the other one in front of a wall of cabinets. I'll send a picture when the project will be finished. So far, the main color is blue with paneling. I hope it will be as I see it in my head lol
Thanks for your comments

We are finishing up our bathroom renovation too.
We put a plain hanging chandelier over our tub, with 3 sconces set beside the 2 pedestal sinks and then one recessed light in the shower.
My concern is that the chandelier over the tub is fairly low and was wondering if I should raise it so that there is not hanging chain from the ceiling. We have regular 8 foot ceilings.
I prefer a semi-flush mount light fixture. Depending on how big your bathroom is, you could go for two of the same brand and style of lights, but have the larger light over the main part of your bathroom.
Eg. this one as your main light:

and this one over your bathtub:

It's not really the scale I was going for but more how to match the two together.
