My daughter grows it and I have had some in dried arrangements with hydrangea. (sp) I know she nips off the top bud/flower to get it more bushy. Such a pretty plant. It's hard to leave with 1 plant isn't it ?

Look what I walked out of the nursery with. Never had this plant but loved the unique shaped blooms and bright colour. It's a Celosia "Christata". Easy to grow in any soil, sun/part shade and is used in dried arrangements. I picked the bright yellow but might go back for other colours, I think there was dark red and white, really would like blue!

Went back to the nursery but they were out of them but I found them in a different one. Of course I had to buy more (no willpower there!). O.K it's called Orange trailing, (grown in Canada). They didnt' have seeds but I'm sure some places would carry them or you could probably order on line.
