I am considering replacing the door to my walk in closet in the master bedroom. Currently it is a standard builders-basic door but it opens IN to the closet, so since i have to take it off and fix that, i have thought about just switching out the door completely.
Im wondering what your thoughts are on louvered bifold doors. The room will have a contemporary feel with the walls painted BM Hampton green (much like BM lemongrass) and there will be a lot of espresso painted furniture (i.e. Ralph Lauren Turret Stair)
Do you think louvered bifold doors are dated and only found in old apartments? or could I get away with using them in the closet and having them look good? Any other suggestions would be appreciated too.
Also, the trim is white. I assume this means i should leave the louvered doors white as well, or could i get away with painting them turret stair and leaving the trim white? Im having difficulty visualizing how that might look. I know turret stair is possibly a bit overdone and over with, but i still love it. :)
Thanks guys and girls!
